According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), here are your top 5 worst airports in terms of having flight delays:
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) @ 23.83% delays
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO) @ 21.78% delays
- Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) @ 20.1% delays
- Miami International Airport (MIA) @ 19.35% delays
- George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) @ 19.29% delays
Delay is defined as, “a flight leaving more than 15 minutes behind schedule.”
