MSNBC.com is reporting today that more and more airports are looking at entertainment avenues to help travelers cope with their ever increasing and common downtime. (Better late than never we suppose.)

They state, “airports are offering unique and innovative ways to help passengers pass the time before a flight or between connections.” Well, how about some airport gyms being added to the live music lineup?

We all agree that we have to make the best of that travel downtime in between flights and delays, and something like live music or an art exhibit is certainly better than nothing. Or at least, better than watching the TV.

Examples of entertainment that are being offered by a select few airports are: live music, art exhibits, and quick access to nearby parks (which we will be adding to our listings under the appropriate airports).
